WITH THANKS, ENCOURAGING MORE AUSTRALIANS TO RECONNECT WITH THE WILD
As part of our With Thanks initiative to get more Aussies out into the wild, Wild Turkey has launched an eco-cabin, design directed by Creative Director Matthew McConaughey and in collaboration with Unyoked.
Proceeds from stays in the cabin and sales of Wild Turkey Longbranch are being donated to Unyoked’s charity partner, Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. This is the first step in a number of planned initiatives from Wild Turkey that will go towards conserving and protecting the environment.
McConaughey is the design director on the construction of The Reserve by Wild Turkey x Unyoked, to ensure the cabin aligns to our unapologetic commitment to our craft, and history of doing things the right way for nearly 100 years.
McConaughey met the Unyoked founders (Chris and Cam Grant) after he was inspired by their unwavering conviction to making the Australian wilderness accessible via their tiny-house cabins.
Unyoked is a ground breaking, innovative travel startup founded by the Australian twin brothers who were determined to provide respite and change the pace of life. The two explore and carve out meaningful, reflective spaces in nature through state-of-the-art cabins across Australia.
The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife has a simple mission – to create parks and save species. For 50 years they have worked with conservation partners and local communities to preserve native habitat and protect Australian wildlife.
Wild Turkey has contributed to the foundation’s efforts to protect and preserve the wildlife during the current bushfire crisis. To offer your support, visit their website.
